Haiku Club

Japanese Name:

俳句研究会

Haiku Club is a historical club founded in 1948. We hold “Kukai” where haiku poets compose and appreciate each other's work. The main event is the monthly "Ginko," in which we go out to various places to make haiku. In “Yomikomi," we improvise haiku on the theme given to us on the LINE group. We also provide instruction in making haiku to new members. We are not hierarchical in any way, and we have a lot of fun doing it!
